Bald Rock Baptist Church, at 2284 Old Covington Road, celebrates Pastor Christopher Shipp’s 25 years in ministry on Sunday, Oct. 30, at  3 p.m.

Pastor Eric Lee and the Springfield Baptist church will be be a guest along with a host of other pastors, friends and families.

The church, the oldest African American church in Rockdale, is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year as well.
