Shelba Jean Thomas, age 74 of Conyers, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, will be dearly missed as she went to be with her Heavenly Father Friday morning, October 8, 2010.  Survivors are her husband of 53 years, Joe Thomas of Conyers; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Jan Thomas of Conyers; daughter, Susan Thomas of Conyers; 2 precious granddaughters, Lauren and Taylor Thomas of Conyers; one aunt, June Sullivan of Conyers; sisters, Carol Aikens of McDonough, Peggy and Bill Davis of Conyers, Marie Stewart of Conyers; best friend, Norma Elliott of Conyers; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Funeral services will be held Monday, October 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel with Pastor Doug Craver and Matt Stewart officiating; interment will follow at Philadelphia United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive family and friends Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be submitted on-line at  www.scotward.com.  Scot Ward Funeral Services - Harry White Chapel, 1299 Milstead Ave., Conyers, GA 30012, 770-483-7216.
