The sixth annual Senior Idol Talent Show will be held on Feb. 11 at 9:30 a.m. at the Olivia Haydel Senior Center. This event is free of admission and open to the public. The competition is for senior center members and there will be four categories in the competition: dance, drama, music, and comedy. The winners of the competition are supported by the Senior Site Council and go on to perform at the state talent show called the Georgia Recreational and Parks Association (GRPA) Senior Talent Showcase. The Showcase is held in a different county each year. Rockdale County Senior Services has previously hosted the Showcase back in 2008.
