Rockdale County Public Schools student registration office will temporarily move to 1400 Parker Road from July 19-August 10 to handle the increased volume of registrants. The RCPS student registration office will close at 1143 West Avenue on July 18, noon, and reopen at 1400 Parker Road, Lobby B, on July 19, 7:30 a.m. The temporary site will close At noon on Aug. 10, and reopen at 1143 West Avenue on Aug. 11, 7:30 a.m.

"It is critical that parents/guardians bring all of the required documentation with them. The wait times can be over an hour, and if parents do not have the correct documents, they will have to leave the registration site, obtain the information, return, and start in line all over again," said April Fallon, director of community and student support. If parents are registering students entering seventh grade or above, Georgia law requires the discipline record from the preceding school year or a statement from the previous school indicating that a disciplinary order was not imposed.
