Sam Tally, Sr., age 85 of Conyers, died Friday December 2, 2011.  He is survived by his wife, Katherine Evelyn Tally, Conyers; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Walter Gilley, Conyers; daughter, Sandra Biddy, Conyers; son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Dorothy Tally, Jr., Conyers; son, Stanley Tally, Conyers; sisters, Swannie Brewer, Star, NC, Moncie Wilkie, Bear Creek, NC; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Mr. Tally loved his Lord.  He was retired from Sunbeam Bakery with over 20 years of service.  Funeral services will be held Monday, December 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Rev.
