The Rockdale and Conyers Rotary Clubs honored the top seniors in each high school in their respective subject fields during a Thursday luncheon. Students were nominated by their teachers and school counselors for their academic success and enthusiasm in 13 academic areas. 

Conyers Rotary Youth Director Chair Diane Adoma, Rockdale County Rotary Club President Elly Dalton and Superintendent Richard Autry helped present the awards. Adoma quoted Nelson Mandela's saying, "Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world." Adoma added, "And these students are well equipped."
