Rockdale Medical Center named Joyce Collins (second from left) as its Volunteer of the Year and recognized all its Volunteer Auxiliary during a special appreciation luncheon on April 24.

Collins, a Rockdale resident since 1977, retired from General Motors in 1992 and began volunteering at RMC in 1993. Collins has worked in numerous departments, including the gift shop and mammography department. She previously served as RMC Auxiliary President, and as Secretary for the State Council of Auxiliary Volunteers, and is currently the RMC Auxiliary Treasurer.
