The Rockdale Farmer's Market will open for the summer Saturday at 8 a.m.
The Market, located at 1400 Parker Rd. will be open Saturdays and Tuesdays from 8 a.m. until the items sell out.
Locally grown, fresh produce will be featured at the market, along with two specialty days.
Family Fun day will be July 17, featuring a peach pie contest, and Agriculture day will be June 29. The agriculture day from 9 a.m. until noon will focus on Georgia agriculture and feature a mobile classroom where patrons can see a cow being milked.
