Rockdale Democrats host gubernatorial candidate Carter, Oct. 4

The Rockdale County Democratic Party will host a meet-and-greet featuring Jason Carter, who's running against Governor Nathan Deal with the hopes of supplanting him as Governor of Georgia in the upcoming November election.

The meet-and-greet will take place in the Democratic Headquarters, 1264 Parker Road, on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Carter, the grandson of former-President Jimmy Carter, won the democratic primary race in May of this year. He is currently a state senator for District 42.
