IN BRIEF: The two American Legion teams from Post 77 split a double header Thursday night.

Rockdale County's Corey Harmon shutout Conyers through five innings and drove in a run to pace Rockdale to a 4-0 win in the first game. Andrew Crumbley scored two runs for Rockdale and also pitched two shutout innings, fanning three Conyers hitters.

Conyers came back and won the nightcap when Jeremy Sparks scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to put Conyers ahead 4-3.
