The 10U Rockdale Rhinos, a travel team with the Rockdale Youth Baseball Association, recently completed their spring-summer baseball season by attending the Big Kahuna Tournament held July 19 to July 24 at The Ripken Experience baseball complex in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Rhinos finished sixth out of 18 teams. "We had a blast," said Head Coach Tony Wilson. Teams from Maryland, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania and many other states attended the tournament. The Rhinos began their fundraising efforts more than a year ago to attend the tournament. "We held a lot of begging sessions at Kroger, Walmart and Sam's Club," Wilson said.
