Once again the Georgia Revolution and the Jacksonville United are atop the National Premier Soccer League's division standings.
The two teams lead the Sunshine Division with Jacksonville slightly ahead with seven points. The Conyers-based Revolution are just behind with six points, four games into the season.
Both squads faced off in their previous two matches, with the Revolution winning a home match, 5-3, Saturday, following the United's 1-0 victory in Jacksonville Friday.
The Revolution and Jacksonville, have two wins apiece while the United also has a tie, remaining one point ahead in the Sunshine Division in the South Region of the NPSL.
The Georgia Revolution lost the Southeastern Conference final to Chattanooga FC last year, and the Jacksonville United won the conference, and the NPSL National Championship the year before.
Georgia plays Tampa Marauders FC at the Naimoli Family Athletic and Intramural Complex in Tampa Friday.
The Marauders are behind the Georgia Revolution in third place with four points, picking up their only win over the Cape Coral Hurricanes May 31.
Lady Revs
The Georgia Revolution women's team are in fourth place in the Women's Premier Soccer League.
In three games, the Revolution have two points, both on ties, and one loss.
Georgia started its second season with a 2-2 draw with the Knoxville Lady Force, before falling to the Gulf Coast Texans, 2-0 on the road.
Georgia tied Mississippi Fuego FC 3-3, May 25, before playing in the non-league Capitol Cup.
