Love to read? Want to bring books to life for young readers? The Rockdale Early Learning Initiative is looking for more readers for the Oct. 3 Read For the Record, an annual event held by Rockdale County Public Schools and United Way of Metro Atlanta.
Millions of volunteers across the United States will be reading "Otis" in support of Jumpstart’s mission to support early childhood education in the hopes that every child in America enters school prepared to succeed.
All participating Kindergarten and Pre-k classrooms will receive a free copy of the book. Please contact RCPS Early Learning Department to schedule a reading for your school at 770-388-5716. All Kindergarten and Pre-K classes are invited to participate.
