RCSO deputies Jordan Guillebeau and Robin Morris recently graduated from the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Athens. Both deputies successfully completed the basic mandate law enforcement program, which is designed to meet the state required basic training for law enforcement officers. The program takes 11 weeks to complete and consists of 408 hours of rigorous training that includes classroom-based lecture and sessions involving tactical training. As mandated by state law, all police officers in Georgia must complete this training in order to earn certification through the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council (POST).
