The Rockdale County Sheriff's Office is looking for feedback from the community through a survey being conducted for the next month.

The survey, which was launched Sept. 21, is being conducted in order to gain community insight related to RCSO professionalism, crime related perceptions in Rockdale, community concerns, and desired law enforcement services. Completing the survey should take 10-15 minutes, and responses will be anonymous.

The RCSO is inviting all residents, business owners and visitors to Rockdale County to complete this survey to help the Sheriff's Office be aware of the concerns of the community. This survey is one method of achieving a more open forum for communication and feedback from citizens. Those that complete this survey will provide the RCSO with information that can be used to guide future programs and activities of the RCSO. Information related to individual neighborhood concerns can be identified so that the proper resources may be dedicated to the proper areas of the county.

"I highly encourage the community to participate in this survey," said Sheriff Eric Levett. "Your feedback will not only let us know where we currently stand as a department, but will also help us make future improvements. This is part of my overall plan to work together with the community."

The RCSO community survey is open from September 21 through October 31. It can be taken online or printed copies can be obtained from the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office located at 911 Chambers Drive. The online version of the survey is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RockdaleCountySheriffsOffice2013. It is also linked to the RCSO website under the Press Releases section and on the RCSO Facebook page.
