Registration for Rockdale County Public Schools 2012-13 Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten classes is now underway for students who will turn 5 years old by Sept. 1.

Visit www.rockdale.k12.ga.us for information and then visit Student Registration at 1143 West Avenue from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday to submit your application. At the time of registration, a child's school will be assigned and parents will be given the school contact information.

Elementary schools will need to conduct screen testing on each child in early May before class assignments can be made. Once a child is a registered student in the Rockdale County School System, parents will be able to contact the school to make an appointment for screen testing and class enrollment.

All children must meet RCPS student registration requirements and complete registration process through the RCPS Student Registration Office on West Avenue.

Those registering need to bring with them child's birth certificate, showing parent's name, social security card, Form 3231 (Certificate of Immunization), Form 3300 (Eye/Ear/Dental Certificate), proof of residence, photo I.D. for parent, proof of custody or guardianship if person enrolling child is not the birth parent.
