The City of Conyers was recognized for its efforts honor veterans and declared a Purple Heart City on Wednesday at the Conyers City Council meeting. The proclamation was given to Commander Doug Middleton with the Department of Georgia Military Order of the Purple Heart and Jim Blaylock.
