Rockdale County school board members will be seeking public input for the 2014-2015 school calendar.

Rockdale County Public Schools Chief Academic Officer Leslie Demarco presented three options for  next school year's start date during Thursday's school board work session. Start date options are July 28, July 31 or Aug. 4, with adjusted student holidays. Currently, all three calendars are 180 days for students, 190 days for staff.

What remained constant was next year's May 22, 2014 end date, which Demarco said would not change.

Officials plan to seek online public input through the end of December at rockdale.k12.ga.us.
