Rockdale County Tax Commissioner RJ Hadley will walk homeowners through the 2013 property tax bills at his next "Tax Commissioner Talk"- Property Tax Bills 101- set for Tuesday, Aug. 27, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Nancy Guinn Memorial Library, 864 Green Street in Conyers.

Property Tax Bills 101 will cover commonly asked questions regarding the annual county tax statements, which are scheduled this year to be mailed on Monday, Aug. 26. Discussion topics include how bills are calculated, the impact of exemptions, such as HOST, and payment options.

Commissioner Hadley will hold an additional Property Tax Bills 101 session on Tuesday, Sept. 24 for anyone unable to attend the August meeting. The September meeting will also be held at the library at 6:30 p.m.
