Conyers police are asking for the public's help in finding the man who robbed at gunpoint a Chevron station on Sigman Road on Tuesday night.

Around 9:05 p.m., a suspect - described as a black male wearing a black mask, white shirt, and jeans - walked into the Chevron gas station food store at 1135 Sigman Road.

No customers were in the store and only one employee was behind the counter. Another employee had gone to empty the trash outside.

The suspect brandished a gun at the employee and demanded money. The suspect then fled the store on foot, running toward Eastview Road and Ga. Highway 138.

Investigators are asking for the public's help with information on any suspicious vehicles or persons that were on the roads in that area around 9 p.m.

Anyone with information is asked to call Conyers Police Department Lt. Chris Moon at 770-929-4206.
