A two car wreck today at the corner of Dogwood Drive and West Avenue left one car without a bumper and the other on its top.

According to witnesses, around 11:30 a.m., a blue Toyota Tacoma pickup truck traveling south on West Avenue was making a right turn onto Dogwood Drive when it was rear-ended by a green Jeep Cherokee. The Jeep also was traveling south on West Ave. The collision caused the pickup truck to flip over, coming to rest on its top.

The driver of the pick up truck pulled himself out of the car and waited for emergency personnel to arrive. He suffered a cut to his arm, and was transported to Rockdale Medical Center for observation.

The driver of the Jeep complained of back pain and also was transported to Rockdale Medical Center.

Officers with the Conyers Police Department are still investigating the crash.
