Phoenix Pass, a transitional housing program for homeless women and children, is calling all interested volunteers, donors and friends for an informational meeting on Thursday, April 12, 6:30 p.m.

The meeting will take place at the Rockdale Leadership Center at 2826 Ga. Highway 20 SE, Conyers, located next to the Mercy Heart clinic.

Board chairman Ron Simpson said in an invitational letter, "At this meeting we want to share with you and others some of progress that has been made and our future plans to provide the necessary funds to maintain the operation of this worthwhile community program.

The program, housed in the Light House Village on Sigman Road, provides homeless women and children a chance to stabilize by providing shelter for two years while giving them the tools to build a better life through training, job searching, and counseling programs.
