Peeks Chapel Elemenary student Jasiel Spooner won the national ‘What Makes You Smile’ t-shirt design contest run by P.S. from Aéropostale. The third grader designed a T-shirt which won $5,000 for Peeks Chapel, which was presented Monday morning at the school, and she won a $500 P.S. from Aéropostale gift card for herself.

The contest, which ran from January 10 through February 18, encouraged third, fourth and fifth graders to pick up a brush, crayon or even a pencil and design a t-shirt to show the world what makes them smile. More than 30,000 entries were submitted and a winner from each grade was selected.
