Pea-sized hail, winds in north, central GA

6:14 p.m.
The NWS in Peachtree City is warning about pea-sized hail and 45 MPH winds for the following counties: Coweta, Fayette, Henry, Clayton, Newton Rockdale, Morgan, Walton,  DeKalb, Oconee, Clarke, Barrow, Gwinnett, Jackson, Forsyth, Banks, Hall and Fulton counties until 7:15 p.m.

5:45 p.m.
The National Weather Service in Peachtree City issued a special weather statement indicating strong scattered showers, winds up to 45 miles per hour and pea-sized hail in north and central portions of Georgia.

The statement indicated pea-sized hail, thunderstorms and winds of 45 miles per hour in Harris, Talbot, Upson, Jones, Baldwin, Pike, Monroe, Lamar, Troup, Meriwether,  Spalding, Butts, Hanckock, Putnam, Jasper, Taliaferro, Greene, Wilkes, Oglethorpe, and Madison Counties until 6:45 p.m. The storms were reportedly heading east.
