Calling all artistes! Pave the Path, a 5K fundraiser to help build the PATH multi-use trail, is looking for original art to use as awards for winners in the fifth annual Pave the Path 10K & 5K Run/Walk on May 19 in Olde Town Conyers.
Your interpretation should include a scene on the Olde Town Conyers Trail or another location on the Path with a runner and cyclist; and be easily reproducible. The work may be in black and white or color. A print of the first place selection will serve as male and female age division awards, and the artist will receive $100. Second and third place art selections will receive $50 and $25, respectively.
Submission deadline is April 25. Submissions should be mailed to 1695 Old Covington Rd. NE, Conyers, GA 30013; or dropped off at the Welcome Center/Depot at 901 Railroad St. in Conyers.
This event will also include a 2K Fun Run/Walk, a Metric Century Poker Ride and a Leisure and Kid’s Ride following race awards ceremony. Sponsorships are still available; deadline is April 15.
