Although the fireworks are spent and July 4 is done and over, we wanted to take note of the extra efforts by the Conyers Police Department to plan for traffic at the Georgia International Horse Park for the Fabulous Fourth festival. As Murphy's Law would have it, the rain kept many people away and brought a smaller crowd than last year, but still the police and volunteers were ready with electronic signs and detailed plans. Kudos and keep up the forethought and planning.
