We are still always amazed how such a small county like Rockdale can have a school system that is second to none in the state. This past week, we attended a meeting at Honey Creek Elementary and found the education provided at that school and the availability of programs is nothing less than outstanding.

As we have said a community is a reflection of its school system. If it reflects a progressive and positive approach, then the county mirrors that concept.

We still have our naysayers here in Rockdale and we always will.

But when it comes to bottom line of success, we are fortunate to live in a community where the quality of life is superb, the education system is the best and the majority of the people who live here reflect a positive, upbeat attitude that makes it a joy to be a citizen of Rockdale County.
