We believe that a community newspaper should feature a strong opinion page. We feel strongly that the editorial page opinions done by our editorial staff and featured in this column should be used to praise, disagree, suggest and inform.

We recognize that our opinion is just an opinion.

And we are more than glad to run signed letters of that reflect the opinions, reactions and thoughts of you, our dear reader.

We recognize that if you disagree with an opinion that we have, you have the same rights and the same authority to express your feelings on this page as we do. This is, after all, your paper.

We only ask that you have the courage to sign your name and take credit for your thoughts and ideas.

We have a great community here in Conyers and Rockdale County. It is only through the fair exchange of ideas that our community can continue to become a better place to work and play.

And you, our reader, are the reason we have such a great place to call home.
