Our schools in Rockdale County started last week, no doubt to the relief of moms across the county.

This is our annual reminder for you to watch for kids walking to school, give yourself more time for your commute because the buses will be back on the road, and just be prepared to drive just a little bit slower especially on country roads. There’s already been one fender-bender from a car running into a school bus this year, and luckily, no one was hurt. Let’s not have any more.

Drive defensively; we do not need to have any of our precious children hurt by driving carelessness.
