We have used this column on numerous times to write positive words about our local Chamber of Commerce.

The reason that the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber is so effective is because of its leadership. The leader and developer of this leadership talent is without question Fred Boscarino.

Boscarino has been involved with chambers here and in Florida for more than 30 years.

The business community and local elected officials have depended on Fred's leadership for the past nine years in this community as he has led the chamber to an unparalleled period of growth and solvency.

This past week, Boscarino's peers at the Georgia Association Chamber of Commerce Executives recognized what we take for granted here in our community and named him the Chamber of Commerce Executive of the Year.
