The Heritage High School cast and crew took home the first place trophy in the Georgia High School Association Region 8-AAAA One Act Competition for their play "The Boys Next Door.

Rockdale County High School won second place with" the play, “Will and Whimsy.”

Among the HHS actors, Ashley Kimbell and Joel Chivington were named as All Star Actors. Heritage took the top two Best Actor Awards, Billy Griffith was named the Best Actor and David Miller was the runner-up.

HHS will go on to the state-wide competition on Nov. 5 in Houston County.
