Written by Ernest Thompson, "On Golden Pond" is a humorous and touching story of love that gives hope that it is never too late to connect with family, renew love and to grow. Written in the late 1970s, "On Golden Pond" has become one of the world's theatre favorites.

Casting will take place for the following roles: Norman Thayer, Jr. (80s - actor can be 50s and up), Ethel Thayer (70s - actress can be 50s and up), Chelsea Thayer (40s), Bill Ray (40s), Billy Ray, Jr. (early teens), and Charlie the mailman (40s).

Auditions are Sunday, Aug. 16 at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Center Street Arts Black Box Theatre, 910 Center Street, Conyers. The audition will consist of cold readings from the script. Head shots and resumes are preferred but not required.

The play will be staged October 16 and 17 at 8 p.m. and October 18 at 3 p.m. and October 22-24 at 8 p.m.
