ATLANTA - The Georgia Department of Transportation is suspending all construction-related lane closures during the Fourth of July weekend.

Crews will be working on road projects but all lanes will be open starting at 5 a.m. Friday and continuing through 5 a.m. Tuesday. There could be limited lane closures for accidents or emergency management.

State officials urge motorists to be cautious during the long weekend.
