Voters who live in the Fieldstone precinct will have a new polling location, effective for the May 20 General Primary and Nonpartisan Election and all future elections until further notice.

Approximately 3800 voters will be receiving precinct notification cards in the mail starting next week, advising them of the Polling Location Change for the Fieldstone Precinct.

Voters who previously voted at Life Church will now vote at Peeks Chapel Elementary School, 2800 Avalon Parkway, Conyers, Ga 30013.

The reason for the polling location change is the previous voting location, Life Church, is being sold and is no longer available for use as a voting place.

On Election Day, signs will be posted in the vicinity and at Life Church (previous location) directing voters where to go.

Absentee voting by mail starts April 5 and in-person early voting starts April 28 at 1400 Parker Road; both run until May 16.

Anyone wishing to vote in the upcoming General Primary and Nonpartisan Election on May 20 must be registered by Monday, April 21, 2014.
