Mrs. Nellie Watson Whitfield, age 82 of Conyers, died Monday, March 28, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Whitfield, Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Sam Harber, Conyers; sons, Toney Whitfield, Sarasota, FL, Jeff Whitfield, Oxford; grandchildren, Terri and Dave Gerber, Michael and Katy Harber, Matthew Harber, Jason Whitfield, Molly Whitfield, Clay Whitfield; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Staples, Stockbridge; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Whitfield enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening, playing Bingo and Solitaire.
