Mrs. Nellie Hill Austin, age 88 of Conyers, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010.  She was pre-deceased by her husband of 62 years, Samuel G. Austin; granddaughter, Cathy Renee Lynn; brother, Howard L. Hill; sister, Margaret Hill Case.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Jerry Lynn, Conyers; son, Sammy Austin, Alpharetta; 7 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; sister-in-law, Barbara Gorton.  Mrs. Austin was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church for 45 years.  Funeral services will be held Friday, September 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel; interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens.  Family will receive friends Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to UGA, College of Veterinary Medicine, 501 D.
