NCNW Gospel Explosion and Founders Day May 16

The Rockdale-Newton Section of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. will host the Second Annual Gospel Explosion on Saturday, May 16, 2:30 p.m. at the Rockdale County Auditorium, 903 Main Street.

The afternoon will be filled with gospel music from local artists; comedy by commedienne, producer, radio personality and actress Kiana Dancie. And of course, there will be fellowship. The Rockdale-Newton Section will also be celebrating its third year of service in Rockdale and Newton counties.

The cost is $10 in advance and $15 at the door. This event raises funds to support the youth scholarship program and community initiatives. Doors open at 2 p.m.

Senior citizens may contact the organization for complimentary tickets while they last.
