A statewide Mattie’s call for a missing 19-year-old hearing impaired male by the name of Taurus Mitchell has been issued by the Newton County Sheriff’s Office. 

Even though Taurus Mitchell is 19-years-old, he has the mental capacity of a 9 or 10 year old, according to authorities.

His mother reported him missing yesterday and he was discovered missing Sunday morning.

Mitchell is described as 6-feet tall, 170 lbs. and wears a hearing aid in his left ear. He has a mole on one of his forearms, unsure of which one, and he was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a neon green sweater, blue jeans and black ankle length socks.

Mitchell does wear glasses but left them at home and can’t see well without them.
