Mary Nell Young, age 84, of Conyers died Saturday, August 13, 2011.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. (Jake) Young and son, Roger E. Young.  Mrs. Young is survived by her son, Dennis D. Young, Conyers; daughter & son-in-law, Rhondia & Ricky Shead, Covington; daughter-in-law, Debbie Young, Conyers; grandchildren, Melinda & Jay Miles, Stockbridge, Michelle Lee, Conyers, Amanda & Matt Blythers, Covington, Kayla & Noah Henry, Covington, great-grandchildren, Kris Lee, Josh Lee, Jenna Lee, Katie Lee, Kylie Blythers; great-great-grandchild, Kyndel Lee; twin sister, Lizzie Bell & Alton Shaw and several nieces & nephews.  Mrs. Young was of the Baptist faith.  Funeral services will be held Monday, August 15, 2011 at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Reese Sanders officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.
