PARKER, Margaret

Mrs. Margaret Parker, age 93 of Lithonia, died October 22, 2011. She was preceded in death by husband, James Andrew Parker; and sister, Nora Wilson. She is survived by son, Kenneth L. Parker, Lithonia; grandchildren, Keith A. & Melissa Parker, Duluth, Kyle L. Parker, Atlanta; great-granddaughter, Caroline R. Parker; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Parker was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and spent her working years at Big Apple and Food Giant Groceries. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Dr. Alan Smith officiating; interment will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 12 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
