Maple Tree Dedication
In memory: Friends, family and city residents gathered at the Nancy Guinn Library Monday, Oct. 19 to dedicate two maple trees in memory of Maggie Nelson, a former Conyers city councilwoman and friend of the Library, who recently passed away of cancer, and her daughter Marie Nelson, who preceded her in death. Speakers included Rev. Al Myers, Mayor Randy Mills, Carl Dennis, and Maggie’s husband Norm Nelson.
