As the library’s summer reading program draws to a close, The News asked some local participants what was their favorite read of the summer.

"His dad made a school and they built an elementary school and he helped him. He wiped the floors."

Going into sixth grade, Conyers Middle School
Favorite read: Lemony Snicket’s "A Series of Unfortunate Events"
"It’s a man who’s going to come and get them and they have to get away."
