Celebrities including Orlando Magic basketball player and former Atlanta prep standout Dwight Howard were in attendance when the television show Extreme: Home Makeover presented a new house to Madison resident Anaiah Rucker and her family.

Nine-year-old Rucker saved her 5-year-old sister's life when she pushed her out of the way of an oncoming truck, taking the brunt of the impact and losing her leg in the process.

The show surprised Anaiah and her family last week with a visit. Since then, people from across the state and community have rallied together to volunteer and offer their support to the build, which is currently going on around the clock until this weekend.

The house was presented on July 16 during the filming of the show which has not yet aired.
