Rockdale deputies are on the lookout for a group of that attacked and robbed a teen walking through the Heritage High School parking lot last Thursday.
Around 8:50 p.m. Thursday, March 27, an 18-year-old male was reportedly leaving a school function. "As he walked through the school parking lot, he observed a white SUV pulling in and driving in the opposite direction, away from him."
The white SUV stopped and a black male with a grey hoodie and black baseball cap came out and asked to use his cell phone.
The 18-year-old said his phone was dead and the male got back in the SUV.
A black SUV then approached the teen from in front and five people got out of the vehicle.
The first male then asked if the teen had any weed. The teen replied he did not.
"One of the subjects punched him in the face, striking his right cheek and knocking him to the ground. He stated that the subjects went through his front pockets and took his cell phone," wrote the reporting deputy.
The SUVs then left and drove towards Ga. Highway 138.
Security camera footage showed what appeared to be five black males and a black female in a white Toyota Highlander or Forerunner and a dark colored Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon with blue high intensity discharge headlights.
