Lexicon Technologies, a Conyers-based electronics repair company, will open a massively expanded facility on Monday that will add up to 150 new jobs.

At nearly 1 acre in size, the "Repair Factory" expansion will further boost Lexicon's business of repairing and servicing such electronics as tablets, smart phones and barcode readers.

"The leadership team, and especially our employees, are enthusiastic about what this means for our future," said Lexicon CEO Travis Collins in a press release. "This facility is a strong platform to continue our company growth."

The multi-million-dollar expansion is part of the company's seven-year growth plan.

"Repair Factory will be a state-of-the-art facility that allows us to increase our production capacity to more than 100,000 units per month," Collins said. "We will be able to easily meet the demand of large-scale client requests, while continuing to provide the world-class service for which we are known."

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for Monday, according to Marty Jones, executive director of the Conyers Rockdale Economic Development Council.

Lexicon is located at 2195 Eastview Parkway. Its website-including a Repair Factory grand opening countdown clock-is lexicontech.com.
