Dear Editor: Rockdale Animal Control/Shelter at 1506 Rockbridge Road, Conyers, between Sigman Road and Main Street, by the Fire Department Headquarters, is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and every third Saturday of the Month from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. They are currently holding adoptions. There are all sizes, ages and breeds- many trained. Just take a few minutes to go over and see the wonderful friends available today. They are very full and need to find homes for quite a few. There is also a great need for fosters, short term and long term. It is a rewarding and necessary experience. Some may take only a few days to find a home and others up to three weeks or more, but it would be great to join our network of dog lovers and help the amazing, loving dogs in our community. If there are any questions please call 770-364-0710 and I'll be glad to help in any way I can! Also visit Friends of Rockdale Animal Control Facebook page to view some of the dogs and to help promote awareness for adoptions, fostering opportunities and the overpopulation epidemic. Please tell all of your friends and family about this. Find a friend, save a life!
