I love, love, LOVE the idea of a good ole’ fashioned freak show, and if you’re awesome like me, and think that sounds like good deviant fun, then you should definitely check out the Cypress Street Pint and Plate this weekend because they are celebrating Halloween with a super awesome circus sideshow, the likes of which haven’t been seen since bearded ladies learned of waxing. A side of the bar/restaurant will be turned into a dust-bowl era sideshow and will include a fire-breathing dragon boy, a mermaid, a fortune-telling witch and a blockhead (I’m not exactly sure what that is, but it sounds interesting). Plus you get to drink some local beer and have some yummy food. There are worse ways to spend a Saturday night.
