IN BRIEF: The question of the legality of the Rockdale County Board of Elections in performing actions other than selecting the third member will come before Rockdale County Superior Court Judge Sidney Nation on Friday, Nov. 4, 10 a.m.

Attorney Terry Massey, representing the elections board, filed for a declaratory judgement last week.

According to Massey, the declaratory judgment will allow the Superior Court judge to issue his "judicial opinion about the authority of the Board of Elections to act, as well as the authority of Mr. Cary Bond."
