Mr. Joe Davis Gouge, age 81 of Conyers, died Friday, September 24, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Maggie Gouge, Conyers; son, Joe W. Gouge, Atlanta; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Carey Wilson, Buford; grandchildren, Stephen and Danielle Wilson, Coupeville, WA, Scott and Laura Nicholson, Lula, Morgan Gouge, Atlanta; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Gouge retired after 25 years of service with Magbee Brothers Lumber Company. He was a former deacon and Sunday school teacher at Mt. Olive Baptist Church and attended Rockdale Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 26, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel with Dr. Ike Reighard officiating.
