Mrs. Joanne Flowers Lanier, of Braselton, formerly of Warsaw, NC, died in her home on Thursday, October 13, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, James N. Lanier (Col. Retired United States Army), Braselton; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Dexter Williams; grandson, Walker Williams, all of Gainesville; brothers-in-law, Dwight Lanier, Kenneth Lanier; sister-in-law, Faye Yopp; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lanier was a member of Hamilton Mill Presbyterian Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Hamilton Mill Presbyterian Church, 5152 Braselton Highway, Hoschton, GA 30548. A reception will follow the service at The Legends at Chateau Elan, 5473 Legends Drive, Braselton, GA 30517.
